Now playing "Giant Step" by Peter Tork
from the "Stranger Things Have Happened" CD.
This song is here, because as a little girl recovering from a life-threatening
car accident at age six, more than anything else that I had access to, "Giant Step" inspired me to want to recover; and gave me hope that somehow, someday, I would once again have a life equal
to the one that I'd lost in that accident--an accident that forced me into "early retirement" from acting, and killed the dream of ever being a professional dancer. Through everyone involved in the production
of BackStage:Los Angeles, who have helped me take a multitude of "Giant Steps outside my mind" I've realized a life fuller
than the one I lost so long ago on the day of my childhood car accident...
and that's priceless...and why there's no other song that could be attached to this page.
Some of these people, in the past few years, also encouraged me to go on my first acting audition as an adult...(for
which I was cast) and which was the most GIANT STEP that I had
to take outside MY mind. I had to trust what these friends saw in me, what I couldn't see, until I could
see it for myself.
